Building Management Systems (BMS)

Building Management System integration for centralised monitoring and control.

We integrate mechanical, electrical and life-safety systems into a single Building Management System, giving you centralised monitoring, scheduling, alarming and energy visibility across the whole building from one place.

Building management systems in Abu Dhabi

Most buildings end up with their systems installed separately, by different contractors, at different times — none of them designed to talk to each other. The result is a building nobody can see as a whole: no central schedule, no useful alarms, and no idea where the energy is going.

A BMS brings those systems onto one platform.

What we integrate

  • HVAC plant: air handling, chilled water, ventilation
  • Lighting control and scheduling
  • Pumps, tanks and water systems
  • Generators and power monitoring
  • Life-safety system status and monitoring

What it gives you

  • Centralised monitoring across the whole building from one place
  • Scheduling, so plant stops when nothing needs it
  • Alarms on faults and abnormal consumption, before they become failures
  • Energy visibility, which is where most of the savings actually come from

Retrofitting an existing building

Integrating systems that were never designed to be integrated is the ordinary case here, not the exception. We survey what is installed, identify what can be brought onto the platform as-is and what needs new field devices, and stage the work so the building keeps running throughout.

Savings come mostly from discipline rather than hardware — stopping plant running when it is not needed, and making waste visible enough that somebody acts on it.

Common questions

What can a BMS actually control in a building?
HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, lighting and life-safety systems can all be brought onto one platform, with centralised scheduling, alarms and energy visibility across the whole building.
Can a BMS be added to an existing building?
Yes. We integrate systems that were installed separately and were never designed to talk to each other, which is the more common situation in existing Abu Dhabi buildings.
How does a BMS reduce running costs?
Mostly by stopping plant running when nothing needs it, and by making waste visible. Scheduling, setpoint discipline and alarms on abnormal consumption tend to deliver more than any single equipment upgrade.
